Coffee is one of the tastiest drinks that almost everyone likes. Most people would love it be able to enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the morning. But not many people know that coffee can be very expensive too. That's why there's a list of the most expensive coffee ever listed in the world.

Here's the list:

10. Yauco Selecto from Puerto Rico. Price: per pound

It is gained from Yauco area, which is the mountainous area in southwestern region in Puerto Rico. The coffee is famous because of the delicious taste and mild flavor.

9. Starbucks Rwanda Blue Bourbon from Gatare/Karengera, Rwanda. Price: per pound

The farmers usually cultivate the Bourbon coffee as their main crop product.

8. Hawaiian Kona. Price: per pound

The Kona is the sloping area of Mauna Loca and Hualalai in Hawaii. The unique and delicious taste is said to be originated from the special climate and unique soil condition.

7. Los Planes from Citala, El Salvador. Price: per pound

It's said to be the second most perfect coffee in 2006. It's cultivated and harvested in Citala area.

6. Blue Mountain from Wallenford Estate, Jamaica. Price: per pound

It has special taste for mild flavor and not bitter. About 80% of the production is exported to Japan because the Japanese love it very much.

5. Fazenda Santa Ines from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Price: per pound

It was bought by two cafes in Australia and one café in Canada. It has great taste and unique flavor.

4. El Injerto from Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Price: per pound

The coffee is cultivated in Huehuetenango area in Guatemala.

3. St. Helena from St. Helena Coffee Company, St. Helena. Price: per pound

St. Helena is the place where Napoleon was exiled and the one produced there has excellent taste.

2. Hacienda La Esmeralda from Boquete, Panama. Price: 4 per pound

It's cultivated under the shade of Guava trees, in the Mount Baru slope. It has nice smell and tasty flavor.

1. Luwak Coffee from Indonesia. Price: 0 per pound

The coffee bean has to go through the mongoose digestive system first before it could be processed into coffee. The mongoose and the bean originally come from Lampung, an area in the island of Sumatra.
